The story behind Bufandy
Off the beaten track tour guide Dorien Straathof is always in close contact with locals and their traditional culture. Wandering at local market, she saw small family businesses using age-old techniques producing the most beautiful products. That is where she fell in love with the soft Alpaca wool. The idea for Bufandy was born.
They partnered with one of the local artisans, Fabian, and together they produced Bufandy's first collection. Since then they have been joining forces with over 20 craftsmen, mostly weavers and hatters. With each of them they strive to build long-term responsible partnerships.

The story behind Goat
Founded by twins Abigail and Lavinia Bakker, the idea of Goat first appeared from their need for a basic white T-shirt. Although easy enough to find, it was a different story once they filtered it down to a white T-shirt that’s sustainable, organic and affordable. What to do when you can’t find what you’re looking for? They simply decided to do it themselves.
“Sustainability is not sustainable if it’s not accessible” – That’s Goat’s motto. This means that the collections must be appealing, its source must be honest, the prices affordable and easy-to-purchase. Once all those boxes are ticked, the result is an ethically produced, 100% organic cottonT-shirt from as little as €17,95.
